- I have recently acquired an Amiga 1200 with an IDE Seagate 120MB hard drive.
- Unfortunately the previous owner 'wiped' the drive and now the machine refuses
- to recognise it. Using HD tools it searches for a SCSI device which it doesn't
- find and at the menu screen it won't allow the drive type to be changed to IDE.
- In fact only 'Help' or 'Exit' are possible.
-
- Using HDInstall I get 'Sorry could not partition this disc'.
-
- Any help gratefully accepted.
