  14. I have recently acquired an Amiga 1200 with an IDE Seagate 120MB hard drive. 
  15. Unfortunately the previous owner 'wiped' the drive and now the machine refuses
  16. to recognise it.  Using HD tools it searches for a SCSI device which it doesn't
  17. find and at the menu screen it won't allow the drive type to be changed to IDE. 
  18. In fact only 'Help' or 'Exit' are possible.
  19.  
  20. Using HDInstall I get 'Sorry could not partition this disc'.

  22. Any help gratefully accepted.
